The proposed Rainwater Harvesting project for SRA scheme in Malad makes provision for flushing water supply for a 31 storied building by collection of rooftop rainwater as well as restoration and recharge of 3 open wells on the site. The project also makes provision to recharge all 18 bore wells on site and utilization of atleast 8 of these for use throughout the year. It also proposes encasing and protection of borewells from surface pollution.
